Mohamed Kandil
Professor of Architectural Engineering
Mohamed Kandil is a distinguished Professor of Architectural Engineering with a PhD from Cairo University and over two decades of experience at the intersection of academia, innovative design, and large-scale architectural delivery.
Until 2019, he served as a Professor at the Faculty of Engineering at Helwan University, where he taught Architectural Design, Interior Design, History and Theory of Architecture, and visual presentation techniques. His doctoral research, completed in 2010, introduced advanced methodologies for evaluating the visual and functional dynamics of exhibition spaces, contributing meaningful insights to architectural theory and practice.
From 2005 to 2019, Mohamed was the Founder and Chairman of AIS (Architecture & Interior Design Solutions), leading a wide range of high-end projects including turn-key luxury villas, premium renovations, equestrian club consultancies, and exclusive international collaborations across Egypt. His work combined design excellence with strategic leadership, client engagement, and meticulous project execution.
